This is a bit of a work in progress, but I’m happy with the start that I have on this site. I’ve tried to blog on this domain a couple times before and it just never worked for me. I’d get a few posts in and I’d just kind of stop. In an effort to actually do something with this blog, I’m changing up formats a bit.

First, the style of the site is going to be a bit more Applesque, specifically I’m working on making the design match Safari’s incredibly useful Reader mode. I read a lot of content online, so Reader mode just makes my life a lot easier. It would make sense to me to have my site match that as closely as possible. It’s a work in progress.

Second, I am going to try and go for longer form content similar to Paul Graham’s essays. I love that he just writes about interesting and useful stuff.

Third, I am not going to have comments on this site. If you really want to leave comments, do it on Twitter, HN, Digg, Reddit, or Facebook. I’m not going to host your trolling argumentative nerd fanboy behavior on my site. Also, I’m not writing on this site just to let you drop links here.

Fourth, since this is the first post, I’m going to make an obnoxious statement that I will refer back to in future posts. I don’t owe you anything. My opinions are my own. If you don’t like it, please ignore me. I am irrelevant.

When I wrote this there were 0 readers, 0 fans, and this was something I did just for my own enjoyment. If you’re reading this, that number has gone up by at least 1.

Thank you for stopping by.
