Don’t change the world. Don’t try to change your city block or even your pants. Start smaller.

When you have something, even just a small, fragile something, that is enough.

That something can be small. It can be a word or a sentence or a thought. Don’t make it a page let alone a book or a series of novels.

Don’t think that far ahead. Don’t make plans.

Get to the starting line and go.

That’s all it is.

Get to the starting line and go.

Start small.

If you think you are starting small, start even smaller.

Do even less than that.

You can’t start too small.

It doesn’t matter where you are trying to go.

If you take one small step, it’s easy to course correct.

Just start.
