There is one habit that you can do to become a million-dollar entrepreneur…

If you get this right, making a million dollars is “easy”. By easy I mean, it’s a lot of work, but it’s a lot less frustrating than you might think.

Once upon a time there was a business owner whose business was struggling… a lot. Everything was a mess and he wasn’t making a lot of money.

It was a website design/development business and while there was demand, he wasn’t getting a lot of business. Yet, when he went out to sell, he could close deals well enough.

One day, he was talking to a mentor about his business and asked what he should do. His mentor listened to his problems and asked, “How do you sell websites?”

The business owner replied, “Well, to get going, I just went door to door meeting with other business owners to talk about their website. Most of them weren’t happy with their website and were happy to improve their website.”

He continued, “But now I spend so much time running the business I barely have time to sell anything.”

The mentor told him, “If you want to be a success, you have to do just one thing…”

“…Every day you need to go out and sell. At least one sales call a day. If you do that, it will fix everything.”

The owner was taken aback. “But who is going to run the business? Who builds the websites? How do I make sure everything is getting done? What about…”

The mentor cut him off. “None of that crap matters. Sure, you need to take care of business, but if you don’t have sales you don’t have a business. There are plenty of people out there who can run your business, but nobody is going to sell like you can…”

“…Without sales you have no business. Period.”

After that meeting the business owner made a sales call every day for years and years and his business exploded. He hired people to design and build the websites. He hired accountants, managers, and built a whole sales staff. But, he was always the company’s #1 salesman.

His mentor was right and inside his advice was a real hidden gem. By selling every day, the business owner became a world class salesman and that skill transferred into every other part of his business. He made better deals, did better marketing, and ran better advertising because he knew how to sell.

People even liked him better because of his newfound confidence and “people skills”.

All of this because he went out and sold every day. To me, that’s the best habit you can have if you want to become a million dollar entrepreneur.
